The Riad

A riad is a traditional Moroccan house with an open-air patio, found in the medinas, the historic centres of Morocco’s imperial cities surrounded by ramparts.

The Patio

The riad is built around a patio, which refreshes the atmosphere with its heated pool. The patio is the centre of the house, and the bedrooms and lounge face out towards it to cut them off from the noise and heat of the city, creating a sense of calm.

There is a table for 13 people on the patio, so you can enjoy your meals in an air-conditioned space, sheltered from the heat or cold.

The basin

Surrounded by two palm trees, the pool will refresh you after a busy day in the Medina, and is heated when the weather is cooler. Birds love to come here in search of coolness and calm, and their songs will lull you to sleep during the day.

The lounge

The lounge opens onto the patio and pool area, where you can relax in comfort with a connected TV.

The terrace

The riad’s magnificent terrace offers a number of areas for you to enjoy the Moroccan sunshine, including the solarium with its deckchairs and bed. A table seating 13 is available for your meals next to the summer kitchen. The warm Moroccan evenings will be unforgettable as the sun sets around the terrace lounge.

The terrace is planted with magnificent local trees (banana, mandarin, lemon, olive, jasmine, etc.) that add colour and the feeling of being in a garden.
